Pinewood Derby

Last week was the Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby. The kids had a lot of fun but of course it isn't as much fun when you don't win. Jack's car didn't even cross the finish line but he didn't care. He was very excited though when he won the prize for the best looking car in his division.

Last month we went to Portrait Innovations and got a new picture taken of the kids since it had been a year. I love this place because it is perfect for me, miss impatient, because they print your pictures right there on the spot and you take them home the same day!

Birthday Cake Time

I know it has been a while since I have posted, sorry about that. For Christmas Todd and Lisa got us a very nice new digital camera but at the time my computer was not working. All is finally well and I can start to put up some of the pictures I have taken. I will start with my recent cake projects. Two weeks ago I made a cake for the son of a friend and tonight I worked on Olivia's cake for this weekend. Olivia's cake though is actually light pink and dark pink, it looks a little peachy colored in the pics. If you can't tell she is having a princess party!
