Sunday night we took time to carve pumpkins with the kids. They of course love this except for Michael who would rather not touch the inside of the pumpkin. This year was a big one for him though because we let him carve the face himself under close guidance of course. Usually we get one of those carving books that have all the fancy patterns in them but this year we decided to just go old school and carve them like we used to as kids. We even let Carter get in on the action. At first he wasn't sure he wanted to touch the pumpkin but by the end he was diving right in and of course trying to eat whatever he pulled out! I posted his pics separate so that I could put them all on!
