Halloween Fun Part Two

Our next stop on Saturday was to Living History Farms for their Halloween Adventure. There we walked around the different buildings where there were people standing outside handing out candy. There were several lighted areas along the way for picture opportunities as it was dark. It was also colder then so the kids had their coats on and Carter was asleep almost the entire time in his stroller. They also got popcorn and pop along the trail, we took a ride on a horse drawn cart and at the end they got free fudge bars and the chance to see inside an Urbandale fire truck and police car. This was fun although after the zoo and another 2.5 hours here we were all pretty exhausted!
